[edit | edit source]De Sipierre is one of the veterans of the Calais war and is a member of the French army in Checkmate.
Role in History
[edit | edit source]- Presumably Philibert de Marcilly, Sieur de Sipierre or Cipierre, captain of 50 armed men, Gouverneur of Orléans. Later Premier Gentilhomme de la Chambre from 1563, teacher ('gouverneur') of Charles IX. Died 1565.<ref>http://tinyurl.com/px6pc4o</ref>
