Spring of the Ram Chapter 31

Plot Summary

Pagano and Catherine race to the Florentine fondaco to try to seize the packs from the mule train. They find the gates open, but no mules. Then Nicholas makes his entrance on Chennaa. The loaded mules were sent to the Charetty company's new warehouse. Doria has to leave, led by Catherine. Nicholas tells the company what has happened, and that he is no longer willing to take orders. The company officers agree to his leadership.
