Plot Summary

Lymond and O’LiamRoe set out to France from Portsmouth. At Dieppe, Lymond visits Martine in order to find evidence against d’Aubigny. Martine's clues take Lymond to Rouen, where he sees Michel Hérisson, involving him, too, in the search for Antonius Beck, the elusive owner of the ship which rammed La Sauvée. In Orléans, Lymond meets Richard and brings him up to speed. Before they part Lymond gives Richard a present for Kevin.
