Pawn in Frankincense - Chapter 6 - Leone

Plot Summary

Francis tells Philippa that he is sending her home with Archie. She agrees but privately resolves to go to Zakynthos to carry on the search for the child. The corsair ship they had outwitted before reappears carrying Leone Strozzi who is seeking the papers that will indict Graham Mallett and see his own way clear to the Grand Mastership of the Knights of St John. Francis gives him the papers on condition that he will not seek to be Grand Master. Strozzi agrees but Francis resolves to follow him to Malta. Marthe refuses to be sent away and Francis gives up his plans for Malta and sets sail for Djerba
