- Transcription of a talk given to the Law Society of England, October, 1990
- WG154
- Dorothy Dunnett discusses the joys and challenges of being an internationally known author, starting with a description of the writing and publication of the Johnson Johnson book 'Dolly and the Doctor Bird'. The book had to be re-titled in the USA because newly elected President Lyndon Johnson's wife's nickname was Ladybird. Other humorous anecdotes are offered describing letters and telephone calls from her readers.
