Abstract
[edit | edit source]- The author cites two reasons that inspired her to look more deeply into the link:
1. Listening to DK, my early fascination with Gabriel and his sister has been revitalised. And it is interesting to listen to this book whilst reading Gemini, where the links between the Mallochs and the Maletts are made more obvious.
2. Dorothy's handling of the Malloch ancestors is an interesting exploration of how she approached linking into the other series, leaving clues for readers to find (or not) and creating mysteries to be solved. In particular she draws comparisons with the death of Anselm Adorne's son and the death of Khaireddin in DK.
