DDS Local Groups

From wikidds

Various members run Dorothy Dunnett Society local groups in various places around the UK and the rest of the world. These groups are usually informal. They arrange to get to get together at a pub, restaurant, museum, castle, art gallery or in one of the members' houses to discuss things Dunnett. Each year on International Dorothy Dunnett Day (IDDD) the groups get together to lunch and to toast Dorothy Dunnett. These meetings rance in size from 2 people to about 30 in places like London and Edinburgh.

If you wish to be available to be contact by anyone in your area about joining in local group events, then you need to tick the "Share Address with Other Members" box when you join or renew your membership. If you forgot to that you can email the membership administrator at membership@ddsoc.org that you can be contacted this way, and the administrator will update the membership database with that information.

If you wish to host an IDDD event, please contact the IDDD co-ordinator at iddd@ddsoc.org and she will arrange for it to be publicised. IDDD is held on the second Saturday of November each year.
