Cocktails for Characters
Appearance
Overview and Issues
[edit | edit source]The author creates five unique cocktails representative of five DD characters.
Abstract
[edit | edit source]The author provides the ingredients to make her original cocktails for the following characters:
- For Gelis – 'Genever' because Genever is Dutch-Flemish in origin, and this is a tart, spicy drink with a lingering finish.
- For Kate - 'Classic Bramble': For Kate, because blackberries!
- For Mistress Boyle - 'Mistress Boyle': a beautifully floral take on a martini.
- For Margot - 'Hugo': Like Margot, this is sophisticated and refreshing.
- For Thorfinn - 'Macbeth': It’s a rather dramatic sea-green colour, which just makes it more appropriate for Thorfinn.
