<spoiler>Marian presents Claes with three options for his immediate future, and he chooses to train with Astorre. At Controller Bladelin's banquet for the Commander of the Flemish galleys, Katelina spars with Simon again and is tricked into indiscretion by the powerful Jordan de Riberac, who turns out to be Simon's father. She vistis Claes and Marian, and alerts them.</spoiler>
